The Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Alabama is one of the finest world class racing facilities in the Untied States. Throughout the year there’s always a lot of action going on the track. In between events at the track fans can wander through the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum. In this huge facility over 1100 bikes built by 140 different manufacturers can be viewed. This makes it one of the largest collections in the world. There are at least 71 vintage Harley-Davidsons in the collection. A person could spend days just visiting the museum. but the action is on the track.

Museum Goes Hog Wild

The Reading Public Museum will be going “Hog Wild” when a new exhibit “Born To Be Wild, Adventures In The Art Of Motorcycle Design” opens on October 3, 2008 and runs through January 4, 2009. The exhibit will showcase 46 motorcycles of both classical and contemporary design. Centerpiece of the display will be the iconic bikes from the classic cycle movie EASY RIDER.
