Well to be honest I didn’t actually hear her on the radio, but I did hear the BikerNet radio interview Marilyn gave. It’s amazing what you can hear coming out of the speakers from your computer. I doubt that Al Gore would have imagined the progress that PCs and the Internet have made since he invented them back in the 70s.

Even though she has humbly tried to keep it a secret, we’ve learned that IronWorks Executive Editor Marilyn Stemp came home from Sturgis with quite an honor. Marilyn was presented the “Sandy Leone Award” at the “Top 50 Rally Park Women’s Day”. The award was given in remembrance of a woman who gave her heart, spirit and devotion to the sport of motorcycling. All of us who know Marilyn can certainly attest that she embodies and exemplifies these attributes and more.
