3rd Quarter Crunch at Harley-Davidson
Well it seems the financial crunch we are experiencing here in the good old U.S. is starting to be felt elsewhere. Harley-Davidson announced that it’s third quarter net income fell 37.1% compared to the same quarter last year. This was due to weak sales in the European market. Revenue from motorcycle sales was down 11.1%, Parts and Accessories was up 3% and Merchandise was up 1% for the quarter.
