The Motorcycle Hall of Fame in Pickerington, Ohio as part of its exhibit dedicated to the “Moto Stars” has a display dedicated to the world famous Buffalo Chip Campground near Sturgis, South Dakota. The reasoning behind this part of the exhibit is that the Buffalo Chip Campground boasts the largest gathering of celebrity motorcyclists every year. The exhibit will contain memorabilia and written tales of the celebrities who have attended and performed at the Buffalo Chip. The images will include a montage celebrating the history of the Buffalo Chip. Cranking out the tunes you used to cruise to will be Mitch Ryder and The Detroit Wheels. Yes sir “Jenny Take a Ride”, “Devil in the Blue Dress”, “Little Latin Lupe Lu”, “Sock It To Me” and “Too Many Fish in the Sea” will fill the night air on Saturday August 9th from the stage at The Buffalo Chip. Mitch Ryder is referred to as “The Godfather of Detroit Rock”. He was out there before Nugent, Seger and Kid Rock.
