that motor would be better off powering swamp glider, or an airplane, pr ‘pusher’ out in the dry lakes.

These creatures have been around for close to three years. Not to dis you ! There is a guy out in South Dakota that is building similar, if not same. I believe that the motor is coming from an Australian mfgr. Woe be it to the 5-6-7 o’clock cylinders when they meet S.D. pot holes .

OUCH ! We had 63 degrees here in Central Wisconsin. Bikes materialized from the either.There was a roar of American V-Twins running past my house all day. Needless to say, one of my Knuckles was one of them ! Hey Now ! Lets get down and Ride, Sally Ride !

Paul,Correct me if I’m wrong, but I suspect that the bike in the image is your to die for UL. Following Sam’s lead here, I would relate my first experience with Dennis, Marilyn and Paul. I snuck into the 1994 V-Twin Expo. I had a mission. I had become a fan of Dennis and his bent toward vintage bikes. I felt that the club that I belong to was worthy of exposure. I met Marilyn at the IW booth, was told that Dennis was off touring the Expo. Upon getting home, I called him. I told him the story of Knucklehead Company LTD. Dennis told me to call Paul Holdsworth and to tell him my story. My call to Paul lasted a full hour. By the time we rang off, I felt that I had known the man for 30 years. The up shot was that Paul convinced Bogeman to come to Central Wisconsin to interview and photograph this scrufty group of antiquers. Bogeman went so far as to accompany us on a run to the Viking Chapter AMCA meet in Farmington, Minnesota. Once there we road in to the show barn on Friday night with our colors on and proceeded to steal the show. Thanks Dennis, Marilyn,Paul and Bogeman.

I don’t know about y’all, but the first time I HEARD about the Hoka Hey, even BEFORE I looked at the website, I knew I HAD TO RIDE IN IT! How can you NOT? I since have lost my job, but still, I AM RIDING IN IT! I am raising the entry little by little-have found more than one reason to ride, and combine it with a fund-raising purpose.See you in Key West…and Alaska!

I chose not to wear a helmet and that is my right.I pay insurance on it the state dont.I pay for the plates and sticker for it,the state don’t. Ironbutt and the Hoka Hey are completely different. if you are doing a CC or CCC or even a 48 state ride you can blast down the highways with an 11.5 gallon tank. from what I have read this looks like a tour of the country with some off the beaten roads that have to be taken. is this the first year this will actually take place? that is, 2010? if so, I’m sure there will be a test to organizers. ride safe.
