Harley-Davidson is raffling off a customized 2013 Street Glide motorcycle as the featured prize of the H-D 2013 Daytona Bike Week Motorcycle Raffle that benefits the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). This motorcycle was created especially for this event and is decked out with more than $13,000 in accessories including a Smokey Gold Limited Series Custom Paint Set, Anarchy 18-inch Custom Wheels, a Wind Splitter Windshield, a Boom! Audio Premium Speaker Kit, a Chrome Front End Kit, Stealth Collection grips and pegs, a Rallyrunner Seat, a Screamin’ Eagle Ventilator Air Cleaner Kit, Screamin’ Eagle Nightstick Mufflers plus many more accessories. This motorcycle would probably cost approximately $31,000 if someone wanted to build one like it.
Tickets to win this bike start at $5 with all proceeds benefiting the MDA. Tickets to win the bike will only be available at the MDA booth at the Harley-Davidson exhibit at Riverfront Park on Beach Street in Daytona Beach. Tickets are $5 per ticket or 5 for $20. Ticket sales will start on Saturday, March 9th and end at 4 PM March 16th when the drawing will take place. The winner does need not be present to win. Again all proceeds from this raffle will benefit the MDA.
Over $81 million has raised for the MDA since 1980 by Harley’s dealers, customers, employees, suppliers and H.O.G. (Harley Owners Group) chapters. This money supports MDA’s worldwide research efforts, comprehensive medical care for children and adults with neuromuscular diseases plus the MDA summer camp program for youngsters and much more. So, if you’re going to Daytona stop by the Harley exhibit on Beach Street and buy a ticket or 2. It’ll help MDA and you might win a customized 2013 Street Glide.
