Rumor has it that Harley-Davidson India is planning on building an all new entry level motorcycle in an afford to counter Honda, Kawasaki, and Hyosungâs introduction of bikes priced in the Rs 3 lakhs range. The bike will be built at the H-D assembling plant in Haryana using parts sourced from local suppliers. Initially the bike will be made-for-India, but could eventually be sold in other countries. This new model will have a 400 to 500cc V twin engine and sell for approximately $6,300 (Rs.3.5 lakhs). The motorcycle is currently under development and is expected to be showcased at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo.
