Joe Mielke is the project manager at KlockWerks in Mitchell, South Dakota; he is also an unabashed lover of one of Harley’s best handling motorcycles, the FXR. Now Joe has a new project on the horizon. Joe is putting together the FXR Motorbike Show to be held in Sturgis. This first ever all FXR show will be held on Sunday, August 4th at the Soccer Fields in the Sturgis City Park (if you’re old enough to remember that’s where people used to camp in Sturgis). The show is free to enter and any donations will go to the Children’s Care Hospital and School of South Dakota.
After the FXR show there will be a police escorted ride from Sturgis through Deadwood and Lead and then Spearfish Canyon to Spearfish where the ride ends at The Crow Peak Brewing Company. Trophies, door prizes and more will be handed there. IronWorks Magazine is handing out a Trophy for the “Iron Works Choice” at the FXR Motorbike Show with the winner getting a feature of their FXR in Iron Works magazine!
If you’re going to Sturgis on any year or model of an FXR and you’d like to participate in the FXR Motorbike Show you can register at:
