To all the Patriot Guard Riders in the Carolina region, this Saturday a young Marine who was injured in Afghanistan will get a special opportunity. Tim lost both legs and partial use of one of his arms about one year ago. He has been at Walter Reed Military Medical Center at Bethesda, rehabilitating from his injuries ever since. He wanted to do something special for his 1 year “alive day” anniversary and that was to do a tandem skydive. Now, thanks to various organizations, this young American hero will get to do this skydive on his “alive day”, Saturday February 9th.
The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to attend this special day and to establish a flagline in Tim’s honor as he and his family arrive at the airport. Once Tim is airborne the group will proceed to the Tiger Swan LZ facility, which Tim will be landing at. After the sky dive there will be additional events which the Patriot Guard Riders has been invited to attend. If you would like to attend and help this brave young man then be at Landmark Aviation, Grannis Field, (Fayetteville Regional Airport) Fayetteville, North Carolina. Staging is at 8:45 AM with the Flagline being established at 9:00 AM.
