Just a reminder to all you gals that are having fun at Bike Week in Daytona, don’t forget that the 6th Annual Harley-Davidson MDA Women’s Ride to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association is tomorrow, March 12th. Hundreds of women riders have already for this event that will rumble through the streets of Daytona. The annual MDA Women’s Ride begins at 9 AM at Riverfront Park on Beach Street and ends at Bruce Rossmeyer’s Destination Daytona.
All bikes are welcome and you can register online, or get there at 8 AM and register in person. A minimum contribution of $50 is required and those contributing more than $150 will get commemorative 2013 MDA Women’s Ride gear. All registered riders will receive a 2013 MDA Harley-Davidson commemorative pin and a 2013 MDA Women’s Ride flag for their bike.
“The MDA Women’s Ride is a fun tradition that highlights the passion Harley-Davidson and its riders have for helping those affected by muscle disease,” said Scarlett Marchman, MDA vice president of business development. “This year’s event is even more special because MDA will be there to help Harley-Davidson kick off its 110th anniversary celebration during Daytona Bike Week. We love being part of the Harley-Davidson extended family experience and are grateful for its 33-year commitment to the families we serve.”
BTW this year’s Harley-Davidson Daytona Bike Week Motorcycle Raffle will feature a 1-of-a-kind 2013 Street Glide motorcycle customized with loads of Harley-Davidson Genuine Motor Accessories. Tickets for this raffle are only available at the MDA booth at the Harley-Davidson exhibit. The tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20. Ticket sales will end at 4 PM on March 16, when the drawing takes place. All proceeds will benefit families served by MDA.
