The Ultimate Builder Custom Bike Show rolled into Cleveland, Ohio over this past weekend with some awesome custom bikes for attendees to peruse. I’m sure it was hard for the judges to pick the winners because all the bikes looked like winners to me. Great job guys! Here’s a list of the winners and some pics of the winning bikes so you can enjoy them too.
FreeStyle Class
Jon Shipley brought Whiskey Bent, a 2011 Hossier Daddy Custom Bobber, to and took 1st place in the FreeStyle class. The ’77 Ironhead 1000cc mil is bored and has a Bar Stool seat and 102 year old brass headlight. Rumor has it that it still pours whiskey. It also has special features like a ‘still’ and a spare barrel. Awesome!

Retro Mod Class
“El Vaquero” is a 1977 Honda GL1000 Goldwing that sports a super charged stroker motor, 4 degree rake, remote air ride and performance suspension shocks. Additional features include engraved accessories, custom trucker-flap exhaust and hidden cables. BTW “El Vaquero” also took home the People’s Choice Award.

Mod Harley Class
The pastel Hot Rod paint and the molded tins really grab your attention when you first look at Cory Edwards’ “Sudden Impact“. The lines on this ’85 FXR are smooth and clean. The Gilliland Customs’ build features handmade sheet metal, Jims Flywheel, Screamin Eagle heads and Edlebrock dual carbs. Hand made front fender, gas tank, handlebars, side panels, air dam, exhaust, oil tank, coil cover. Modified Harley rear fender and swingarm. Dual Edelbrock carburetors. Arlen Ness triple trees. Dakota Digital gauge. PM hand controls. Headwinds headlight. Screamin’ Eagle cylinder heads. Arlen Ness rocker boxes. JIMS flywheels. V-Thunder camshaft. Arlen Ness cam cover. Dynatek ignition and coils. Hexed and diamond cut cylinders and cylinder heads.

Performance Custom Class
Ed Vanaman loves motorcycles. He runs Ace Powder Coating and has been working his magic on all of his 50 plus bikes. The Triton was fabricated by Stan Liepert and features a 1964 Norton Atlas frame that cradles a pumped up Triumph 650 engine. The bike has powder coating throughout and features clip-ons, a custom HMF exhaust and a slick Rickman front brake.
