Even the foul weather, wind and rain, at the recent BUB Motorcycle Speed Trials at the Bonneville Salt Flats couldn’t stop Jody Perewitz and her Team J’WITZ from setting a new FIM World Record at 189 mph. Fighting off the winds and wet salt conditions, Jody rolled the beautiful J’WITZ machine through several flawless passes which included 1 pass at a blistering 196.9 mph.
Setting speed records is no stranger to Jody as she and her Team J’WITZ set multiple records in 2011. Jody currently holds 2 land speed records with Loring Timing Association and 1 with AMA / BUB Speed Trials at Bonneville which makes her the fastest woman on an American V-Twin. Jody made a pass of 203.111mph at Bonneville which made her the 1st woman to go over 200 on an American V-Twin.
