Roland Sands has combined “classic Café racer styling” with needed rider features to create the “Maven”, a form-fitted jacket shaped for the female body. The jacket has an adjustable zippered waist with comfort flex panels under the arms at the chest which enable women riders to further adjust the “Maven” to their body. Pre-curved sleeves, a relaxed “racer” collar and a dropped back complete the performance riding features designed into the jacket.
There are additional pockets in the elbows, shoulders and back for optional RSD armor inserts. Zip-close cuffs, interior stuff pocket, zippered front pockets, a sleeve zip pocket, perforated leather trim and a gold satin lining complete the package. Roland said, “Even though it looks great off the bike and will be worn as a fashion accessory, the Maven is meant to be worn on a motorcycle,” And added, “As with any piece in the RSD line, the Maven is riding gear built with a parallel of fashion and function.”
The “Maven” has an MSRP of only $560 and is available in a full range of sizes in either Black or Tobacco with Cream and Oxblood coming in the spring of 2013.
