We are introducing a new monthly feature here at IWBlogger. Its called Road Tales and as the name implies it will be stories that have actually happened during rides. Mostly the stories will be culled from the 20-some years of columns of mine that have been printed in IronWorks Magazine. All the Road Tales are true except that the names of the guilty may or may not have been changed.
So you ask, since at first glance you don’t see Road Tales listed where will you find it here on the IW site? Its not really hard to find but just like for the Picture of the Day its hidden and you do have to do a little searching. If you’re like me and not very computer literate here’s a simple tutorial to help you out. Up at the top of the page there is a line of titles for features that looks like this:
Home-Magazine-Blog-Bikes-Articles-IW Garage-News-Products-Videos-Resources-Customer Service-Subscribe-Contact
To find Road Tales all you have to is move your mouse so that the cursor, that little arrow you use to pick things out, is on Articles. A little box titled Road Tales will drop down and you click on it to view the section. To see the Picture of the Day move the cursor to Blog and a box with Picture of the Day will drop down and you click on it. See, the Picture of the Day is still on the site contrary to what many people think. BTW in case you didn’t know it some of the other titles on that line also have drop down boxes which contain some, hopefully, entertaining or informative items.
Like I said most of the Road Tales will come from me. However, if you have a good TRUE story you’d like to share send it to us and maybe in the future it will appear as an IronWorks’ “Road Tale”.
