Unless you’ve been living in a cave the past few months you have to know that Harley-Davidson is going to be celebrating its 110th anniversary next year. The event has gotten so big that the Pope has even gotten involved. The Harley celebration is certainly worth its due, but did you know another company will be marking a milestone in 2013? This company has been around half as long as Harley so that means it will be celebrating its 55th anniversary and during all those years is make products that made Harleys go faster. That’s right S&S Cycles turns 55 next year.

Now we don’t like to spread rumors or gossip but a little birdie recently whispered into my ear that Milwaukee might not be the only city in Wisconsin where an anniversary celebration will be held next year. The birdie says there may be one being held in Viola, Wisconsin too. The birdie didn’t give any inside info like dates (June?) or other stuff like that. Hopefully S&S will have a get-together next year because I’m sure many of their devoted fans would love to go to Viola to help them celebrate. I know I would. Who knows maybe they could get the Pope to bless a carburetor.
