Ride With The 40
It’s almost time for the annual cross country “Ride With The 40, A Motorcycle Tribute To Celebrate America’s Heroes”. This ride pays tribute to the 40 brave souls that fought back against the terrorists who had commandeered Flight 93 back on September 11, 2001. It also helps raise funds to support the Flight 93 National Memorial Campaign. The permanent memorial is being built on the Flight 93 crash site near Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
The ride starts in Newark, New Jersey on September 2nd then winds across the United States arriving in San Fransisco, California on September 11th. Newark to San Fransisco was the original flight plan of Flight 93. Those riders wishing to join and accompany the ride can do so on any segment of the route. For more info or to donate to the “Ride With The 40″ go to: www.ridewiththe40.org .
