Indian of Pittsburgh Grand Opening

On Saturday morning I got a chance to run over to the grand opening celebration of the new Indian dealership for the Pittsburgh area. I don’t know whether it was great minds thinking alike, curiosity or riders out enjoying the great spring weather but there were tons of people there.

With the big red truck up from North Carolina bringing demo ride bikes to the party everyone there got a chance to see just about every color that the new Chiefs can carry. The lines were long for the demo rides and I had other places to be so I deferred a ride and settled for the opinion of some who did take a ride.

Vince from the Pittsburgh area and my old friend Tom both said they were impressed with how smooth, powerful and well balanced the bikes were. They were also impressed with the brakes on the bikes they rode. Besides the demo rides there was music from a local radio station plus food and drink. The owners of the dealership couldn’t have asked for better weather to unveil their shop. All in all it was a good day.
