Sumax Celebrates 25 Years
Sumax, the renown powder coating company is celebrating it’s 25th anniversary. Kirk Von Scoten originally started the company in his basement by designing and distributing the Taylor brand spark plug wires and battery cables. Later he began anodizing billet parts for bike and soon delved into the powder coating business.
Originally the high end powder coating was used exclusively for motorcycle parts. After seeing the high quality of these parts other companies demands for more products with the Sumax coatings led to further diversification.
In 1995 Sumax began began working with an environmentally friendly process for making composite fiberglass parts. Using this process Sumax added fenders and saddlebags to it’s ever expanding product line. For more info go to www.sumax.com

“began began”
Congratulations to Sumax for 25 years.
Sam, you need to beat that editor again.
No I can’t beat the Editor, I’m not into masochism. The writer has been known to screw up on purpose to see if anyone’s paying attention, unfortunately this wasn’t one of them. Thanks!
I thought you were the editor?
