Here’s a product for all of you who have to haul your motorcycle to events. Steadymate has long been a leader in supplying tie downs for various big boys toys. If you have to haul it you’ve probably used a tie down built by Steadymate to keep it upright and secure. You don’t want your expensive machine flopping around in the back of a trailer.
Now Steadymate has introduced a new motorcycle wheel chock to help you out. It’s easy to use and is adjustable to fit most size wheels and tires. It’s also built low to the ground making it easy to roll into and one person can load a bike. You can either permantly mount the chock to your trailer but it also has rubber feet to prevent it from moving. Of course it is recommended that you have to use it in conjunction with tie downs to be really secure. For more info www.steadymate.com

“Haul” your bike to an event??? I can see hauling a bike somewhere for repair.
Before everyone goes nutz, I have a pic of a BMW on a trailer being towed by a huge SUV at Sturgis Bike Week. Great fun! If ya gotta haul your bike, ya sure want class-A equipment for the job.

Samuel I’m thinking these cost a good bit less than Condor MC chocks. They’re priced in the $200 range. (Am I right?) http://steadymate.com/us/product/20/68/steadymate-wheel-chock.html

It sounds like Steadymate has a winner with this product.
But I’m like Queasy. Someone once gave me a helmet sticker that said, “if you see my bike on a trailer call 911″.

I agree you should be riding your bike, not trailering. But I live in a country with a whole lotta snow, man! If I didn’t trailer I would lose out on 3 or 4 months of riding and those are months I’ll never get back in my lifetime!
I bought a couple of these wheel chocks for the upcoming trip to Daytona. They are way better than anything I’ve ever used and cheaper than that Condor.
I bought the straps to go with it too. Cinchtites. Have you seen them? They are awesome!

Cindy, I bought six in Edmonton! I have a collection of bikes that were taking up all kinds of room in my garage. So I lined them all up next to each other and it takes up half the room since they’re not leaning on the kick stands.
I paid $239 for them also and it was the best money spent because now my wife has room to park in the garage and she’s happy. Cost alot less than an addition on my garage!

Hey Doug that’s a great idea! Even if you only had 1 bike it would make it easier to clean (?) and work on. hope my sister doesn’t read this or she’ll want me to get one so I can put the lawnmower back in the shed next to my bike.

Hey Snakebit… You’re right man! I use it to polish all the chrome. Wheel chock makes it much easier to get all those spots you cant normally reach. And I don;t need to ask the wife to hold the bikes up to check the oil. Again… happy wife makes life much easier if you know what I mean!

Most of the power sports dealers in Edmonton Steadymate’s stuff. I’ve seen it in a few places. Try Riverside Honda Yamaha in St Albert.
