Visit to Confederate Motor Company HQ

Publisher Wade Ramsey and I paid a visit to the Confederate Motor Company HQ in Birmingham AL,  not  long ago. Confederate President Matt Chambers was super gracious and gave us a tour of the facility and of the machines in the shop. The visit was a good time, an eye opening experience and very informative insofar as Matt sharing his philosophy behind his innovative design and use of materials.

For a gear head who has watched Confederate from a distance, always considering them “unobtainable”, it was refreshing to learn that these machines deliver quite the value. I am not sure if I’d just jump on one of these machines and head cross country, but for what they are – they are tops. Made in America is also a points earner,  and so we say check out Confederate Motor Company.
