Saddlemen Sponsored Jared Mees Wins National Championship

After a long, tough, year of racing, Saddlemen sponsored Jared Mees’s 5th place finish at the Gene Romero promoted National Flat Track event in Pomona, California clinched the AMA Pro Twins Grand National Championship for the 23 year old rider.

Recognizing his talent at an early age (16), Saddlemen President Tom Seymour decided to sponsor Jared with the belief that Jared had the desire and talent to become a #1 rider.  Saddlemen was Jared’s first “name” sponsor and we are extremely proud to have helped Jared attain his first AMA National Championship.

Jared went into the final race with a 16 point lead in the standings but  had to transfer into the main event from a semi-final race.  Jared rode a strategic main event  knowing he had to just finish 8th or better to clinch the championship.
