Ridley Settles Suit By Harley

The Ridley Motorcycle Company has announced that it has settled a 2003 suit brought by Harley-Davidson over the name “Auto-Glide”. The suit had been heard in a Wisconsin court in 2007 but no judgement had been announced before the agreement. Although terms of the settlement weren’t divulged, Ridley will no longer call any of it’s future models “Auto-Glides”. Ridley dealers may still use the term for previous model years.
