Rick Fairless Interviews Jesse James
In the world of custom motorcycles there can’t be too many more well known and colorful personalities than Rick Fairless and Jesse James. While their wardrobes may clash, Rick is flamboyant in tie dye while Jesse is usually the man in black, they both share an unabashed love of building motorcycles. It is a rare treat when you can get two such icons together, but through modern technology that is just what happened. On his Texas Hardtails Radio Show, Rick does an interesting interview with Jesse. In it they talk about Jesse’s new reality show, his stint on Donald Trump’s Celebrity Apprentice and the state of building custom motorcycles and parts in today’s economy. As much as I hate to sound like a bandwagon jumper poser, I have Jesse James to thank for me getting involved in building motorcycles. Motorcycle Mania 1 changed my life. Jesse made me realize that if he could do it, anybody with a passion for metal and machines could do it, so here I am. Thanks Jesse.
Choppers Por Vida!!!
I’ve heard people speak against Jesse James and other celebrities like the OCC, but regardless of how we may all feel about the celebrities themselves — the posers or the true bikers — there is always some good that comes from any motorcyclist being in the lime light. It helps foster the development of future generations of bikers and builders alike.
