Milwaukee Iron Up For Sale

After 26 years Randy Simpson is closing the doors for good on his Milwaukee Iron facility in Lynchburg, Virginia. Randy and Milwaukee Iron were once the focal point of the Discovery Channel’s “Southern Steel” series. The closing is due to a combination of rising business costs, foreign competition and the bad motorcycle economy with no respite in sight for any of the factors.

On August 27th there will be a live and online public auction in Lynchburg, Virginia of all of the Milwaukee Iron assets. This “Everything Must Go Sale” means just that, everything must go. We’re talking a collection of 35 years of bikes, parts, tools and fabricating machinery.
