  1. Riding… always makes me say “AHHHH” but I think Fall is my favorite time of year, as there are so many feelings and thoughts running through my head.
    1. I like the temps have dropped enough to make my engine enjoy my rides…(I always enjoy them, but my engine… I can tell when she’s not happy with the extra heat.)

    2. I’m joyous about the amount of color and beauty that abound where I live during fall. The wild life are abundant, and I’m just struck almost dumb by how good it feels to be alive.

    3. If I’m riding small country roads, I’m careful about the thick leaves on the sides of the roads…I still love em…but I take care to steer clear of em….
I ride with a different type of awareness in the fall…my senses are looking out for the fall debris and the wildlife that like to come out during rutting season….Man, I don’t care…the only thing that saddens me about fall is when I see the trees are bare and naked…the nights have turned to crystal laden skies, clean and clear…with stars appearing hard and cold…like the diamonds our kids sing about in the sky….I know it’s winter coming on, and I’m barely hanging in through the cold…but I must…it’s not long till spring it really isn’t.

I love the Fall. It is the best time of the year in New England, IMSHO.

A rider needs to pay major attention though, windows are rolled up, few bikes on the road, animals act nutty and falling branches are everywhere. Also being bundled up slows your reaction time.

But the payoff of Fall riding is great.
