How do I Setup My Avatar?

gravatarWe’ve had several people as the question, “How do I setup my avatar?”, so I have decided to take a moment to answer that question formally.

What is an Avatar?

An avatar is a small image that appears when you post to forums and when you comment on blog posts. It’s your profile picture, similar to an editorial mugshot. Think of it as a visual representation of your unique personality.

How do I setup my avatar?

IWblogger uses a globally recognized avatar system called, Gravatar. To setup your Gravatar, go to www.gravatar.com and sign up for free. Once you have completed the process of registering your email address with Gravatar and selected your avatar image, your avatar will automatically appear on IWblogger.

Feel free to comment, if you need personal assistance—use the contact form.

Note: for your Gravatar to work, you must post using the same email address you registered with www.gravatar.com

Thanks bcarter. I set mine up. Make sure you set your photo to be G rated. IWBlogger doesnt accept anything above G.

I was just asking that on another post. You guys are fast.
Obviously, I managed to follow the directions and setup my “Gravatar”, but I must point out that Brad’s comment regarding the G rating is not entirly accurate. It seems that PG works as well.
