Solemn Salute

04semperfi_02In the August issue of IronWorks magazine was a spread of a bike built for Louis Qualls, a Marine serving his country who didn’t make it home. The bike he had planned on riding when he came home was transformed into a rolling tribute to the warrior who fell while serving his country in Iraq on November 16, 2004.

This article was seen by John Knospler whose son Jacob was wounded in the same area about the same time. Luckily Jacob survived and when he came he and his brothers built a bike in tribute to the 21 Marines in his unit who were lost that month of November 2004.

As always IronWorks would like to add our salute and praise to those brave souls who serve our country
