Chief Reminders from Indian and Cherokee County Cycles

I’m at the stage where I have to write notes to myself reminding me to do something or what to get at the store. Then my problem is that I forget where I put the dang notes. Anyway  a couple events are coming up that I want to remind you about.

First is the Grand Opening of the first Indian Motorcycle dealership in Charlotte, North Carolina this Saturday, October 4th. A ride will leave the nearby factory and proceed to the shop where there will be food and entertainment. www.indianmotorcycle.com

On Sunday October 5th if you happen to be in Clarion, Pennsylvania for the Autumn Leaf Festival Motorcycle Show and you see a big guy wearing an IronWorks shirt and hat while riding a Longbow X-Wedge trike stop and say hello. I’d like to meet you.

On October 11th a bunch of you will get to blast through the twisties along the mountains of North Carolina with some of the crew from IronWorks and Cherokee County Cycles. If you go on the ride there’s a chance you’ll be able to get your picture in the magazine. Remember it’s FREE! www.ironworksmag.com/ridgerun/

  1. Hi Sam! Glad to hear you’re back riding. See you in Clarion on Sunday!

  2. So your back to riding, good. I’ve been enjoying the blog, It’s become a part of my daily routine. Keep it up.

  3. Just wishing Indian best of luck. They make a solid bike, American made with plenty of style.

  4. It looks like everything is starting to come together for the guys over at Indian. Their website looks great, and their show truck isn’t half bad either. I guess the big question now is how will they fair in todays slow market and will they be able to stay afloat when so many other companies are going belly-up.

I was toying with the idea of trading in my RK on one of the new Indians. The Chief Vintage to be exact. But when I discovered that the base price of the bike is $35,400………I guess the closest I’ll get to owning one is inquiring about it.
It appears as if the New Indians are planning to price themselves right out of the market. Too bad, the Vintage is such a nice looking scoot.
    Nuff said,
    Ride easy,
    Sam
