Jean Davidson the granddaughter of Walter Davidson, one of the four founders of Harley-Davidson, will make an appearance at the Cast Iron Ride. The ride is Sunday September 14th. starting at the Vintage Spoke Museum in Rockford, Illinois at 10AM.
Ms. Davidson is the author of several books about motorcycling and growing up as a member of one of the founding families of Harley-Davidson. She will be selling and signing books before the ride to raise money for her “Yell & Tell” program.
The “Yell & Tell” program teaches small children what to do when facing a dangerous situation. Like how to call for help or how to get an adults attention when in peril because of water, fire, poison, guns and child enticement. Some children don’t know how to or are afraid to react and this program helps them overcome this so they possibly save their life or some other child.
